48 hours in Porto, slowly

A three-part slow travel series that turned a spring city break into the brand's best-booked weekend of the year.

The brief

Atlas & Oak wanted younger travellers to see their boutique stays as the start of a trip, not just a place to sleep. Paid ads were reaching people; they weren’t moving them.

The idea

Instead of a hotel tour, I made a guide to doing Porto slowly: one neighbourhood per video, the café I’d go back to, the viewpoint without the crowds, and the room to come home to at the end of the day. The stay is the thread, never the pitch.

What happened

The first video reached a million views in two days, and the comments turned into a list of questions I answered in the YouTube guide. The series became the brand’s most saved content ever, and spring bookings for the featured hotel rose 38% on the year before.
