The brief
Pixelnest’s editing app had great features and dry tutorials. They wanted creators to see it used for real, by someone who edits every day.
The idea
I edited an actual episode of my travel series, start to finish, with the app on screen and my running commentary: the shortcuts I use, the mistakes I make and the colour grade I always come back to.
What happened
The video kept an average watch time of eleven minutes, and the trial link in the pinned comment brought 18,000 sign-ups in the first month. Pixelnest now uses the cut-downs in their onboarding.
